KPT students recently completed their second study visit as part of the MoVET short-term mobility program in Belgium, hosted by Odisee Hogeschool. From 20 November to 3 December 2023, 15 students from various study programs, accompanied by their lecturer, took part in this incredible journey.
The agenda at Campus Aalst included engaging activities focusing on entrepreneurship, renewable energy, and ICT. Students were introduced to the EntrNET Project, which aims to enhance entrepreneurial education for young adults, and participated in an Entrepreneurship Day in Brussels, where they developed and pitched business ideas. They visited advanced labs dedicated to Electromechanical Systems and Renewable Energy Systems, attended a Programming Workshop, and explored Lean Management in an interactive lecture.
The visit also offered intercultural experiences through a Cultural and Language Workshop, promoting exchange and communication among students. A key highlight was the workshop on System Thinking for Sustainable Development Goals, which emphasized collective action for global challenges. In their free time, students explored the cultural beauty of Aalst, Ghent, and Brussels, making this journey both educational and memorable.
