During the Joint Staff Training on 23-27 May in Athens, the whole team had the opportunity to visit AKMI's premises and have a guided tour at the labs of the organisation.
After the Steering Committee meeting in Athens, the Western Balkan MoVET partners had the opportunity to get to know more about IEK AKMI, the practices that are applied in the tourism sector as well as receive further details on the main internationalization projects they manage.
Throughout the training, esteemed guest speakers were invited to provide presentations with valuable meaning for the project. Mrs. Giulia Meschino from the European Vocational Training Association (EVTA) presented the internationalisation strategy of the association; Mrs. Sonia Degroote from EVVB presented some of their projects, among them the Operational Grant "VETn'Go" and; finally Mrs. Pigi Mantzouratou has made an extensive presentation about the updated curricula in the Tourism Sector of AKMI and the well-known "Hospitality Labs".
